Leka Quiz ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Spanish language quiz application.

We collect information that you provide directly to us:

• Account Information: Email address and display name when you create an account (passwordless email or Google sign-in).
• Learning Data: Your CEFR level, dialect preference, learning goal, generated quizzes, attempt history, per-topic accuracy, weak spots, and streak statistics.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including quiz sessions and feature usage.
• Anonymous Demo: For the public home-page demo, we store only a hashed, daily-rotating fingerprint of your IP address to enforce a per-visitor daily limit. No IP is ever stored in clear text.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve our quiz service
• Personalize your experience by calibrating quizzes to your CEFR level and weak spots
• Track your progress and display statistics and streaks
• Communicate with you about your account or our services
• Ensure the security and integrity of our platform

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

You can exercise your right to delete your account and all associated data through the Settings page in the app.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data from our systems.

7. Internal Data Access

Authorized personnel (administrators) may access your account information and usage data for the following legitimate purposes:

• Service operation: Monitoring platform health, diagnosing issues, and ensuring service availability.
• User support: Assisting you with account issues and responding to support requests.
• Service improvement: Analyzing aggregated usage patterns to improve features and the learning experience.

This access is limited to what is necessary and is conducted under the "legitimate interest" legal basis (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Administrative access is restricted, auditable, and subject to our internal security policies.

8. Third-Party Services

We use AI-powered services to generate quizzes:

• Quiz generation: The topic you submit, your selected CEFR level, and your dialect preference are sent to our AI provider to produce a calibrated quiz. Only this information is shared — no account identifiers are attached.

Data is transmitted securely and processed only for the purpose of providing the requested feature. The AI services we use do not retain your data or use it for model training.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies solely to maintain your session and authentication state. These cookies are necessary for the app to function properly and keep you signed in. We do not use:

• Tracking cookies
• Third-party advertising cookies
• Analytics cookies that track your behavior across other apps or websites

10. No Tracking or Advertising

• No Data Brokers: We do not share your data with any third-party data brokers.
• No Advertising Data Linking: We do not link your data with third-party data for advertising or marketing.
• No Cross-App Tracking: We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• No Third-Party Advertising: We do not display third-party advertisements in our app.
