1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Leka Quiz ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Leka Quiz is a Spanish language learning application that generates AI-powered, CEFR-calibrated multiple-choice quizzes on user-supplied topics, with support for Spain and Latin American dialects, progress tracking, weak-spot detection, and streak-based study habits.

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure
• Be at least 13 years of age

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems or scripts to generate quizzes beyond normal human usage
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute generated quizzes for commercial purposes without permission

5. Free Tier and Rate Limits

To ensure fair usage and protect service quality, the free tier includes a limited number of quiz generations. The public home-page demo is limited per visitor per day. Excessive use may result in temporary restrictions. Pro subscribers receive higher or unlimited quotas as described on our pricing page.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Leka and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your learning data (attempt history, progress, streaks) remains your property. You grant us a license to use this data solely to provide and improve the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

Quizzes are generated by AI models and, while we calibrate prompts to CEFR levels and verify structure, we cannot guarantee 100% linguistic accuracy. Content is provided for educational purposes and should not be relied upon for professional, certification, or examination preparation as a sole source of truth. Please flag errors so we can improve quality.

8. Subscriptions and Cancellations

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Settings page. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. If you have questions or need assistance, contact us at hello@lekalearning.com.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your personal data, quiz history, progress, and statistics will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
